What to Expect

Before

Preparation

Stop retinol and other active skincare three to five days before a peel, and avoid waxing, sunbeds and fake tan on the area for a week. Arrive with clean skin if you can, and tell us about any medication, skin conditions or recent treatments.

During

Your Treatment

Your practitioner cleanses and assesses your skin, then applies the treatment chosen for you. A peel is left on for a set time and then removed, while a facial includes cleansing, exfoliation, masks and hydration. We finish with AlumierMD serums and SPF. Allow 30 to 60 minutes.

After

Aftercare

Skin can look pink and feel warm for a few hours. After a stronger peel it may feel tight and flake lightly for a few days: let it shed naturally and do not pick. Use gentle skincare, avoid active ingredients for a few days and wear SPF every day. Your practitioner will recommend AlumierMD products to support your skin at home.
